AT&T Internet Services (ATTIS)’s PremierSERVSM DIA Installation is implemented by the Dedicated Provisioning Team and coordinated by an ATTIS Dedicated Provisioning Coordinator who schedules and manages the installation process. The installation process includes:
Access line is installed and tested.
For each installation, a Customer Service Activation appointment will be scheduled by the Dedicated Provisioning Coordinator. The purpose of this appointment is to verify IP connectivity to the ATTIS network. ATTIS engineers will test the IP connectivity via pings from the Internet to the customer’s router and verify IP routing by using trace route tests if your Customer Premise Equipment supports it.
ATTIS will handle the registration process (but not the registration fee) of up to three DNS domain names for free. The customer is responsible for the registration fee for each DNS domain name registered (a $75 fee from Network Solutions will be applied). If more DNS names are required, ATTIS will manage the registration of these names for an additional $100 processing charge (does not include fee for rejection).
Note: AT&T Connecticut customers have a one-time set-up fee of $200 per domain name. There is no additional charge for DNS services after the initial set-up.
ATTIS provides Primary DNS service for three domain names for free. There is a $100 charge for establishing Primary DNS service per additional domain name after the initial 3 domain names. There is a $50 charge per domain name for change requests made on a customer's existing domain name after the customer's initial DNS request. Secondary DNS is offered currently at no charge to DIA customers. Reverse Delegation is offered currently at no charge to DIA customers.
For Complete and Essential customers, ATTIS will provide and install a preconfigured router. For Complete customers, this includes configuring the Cisco Firewall security services.
